The heavenly Father’s house

1. 1) Do you believe that there are heaven and hell?

    2) If God is love, why does He send sinners to hell?

    3) Would you believe in Jesus if there are no heaven and hell?

2. 1) Can you think of any other names that are used to represent “My Father’s house” in the Bible?  

    2) Why did Jesus say His Father’s house instead of the kingdom of heaven?

    3) Who are invited into the Father’s house? (John 1:12)

3. 1) How can you overcome fear or an anxiety?

    2) What is the difference between believing God and trusting God?

    3) What is the difference between trusting God and trusting Jesus?

4. 1) How did Jesus explained His crucifixion-death to His disciples?

    2) What has Jesus done for me at the Father’s house?  

    3) Is Jesus still preparing places for me? Why hasn’t He come back yet?

5. What does He mean when Jesus promised in verse 3 that, “I will come back”? 

6. 1) What is the reason for Jesus to come back?

    2) When a person dies before Jesus’ return, what will happen to his/her spirit? (2 Corinthians. 5:8)

    3) Why will Jesus bring the spirits of the dead in Christ with Him at His return? (1 Thessalonians. 4:14)

5. How should I prepare to meet Jesus at His second coming in air? (Luke 21:34-36)

Prayer:

Jesus! I trust you for your promise. I believe that you have prepared a place for me at Your Father’s house. I also believe that You will come back at Your time to take me where you will be. Your promise is the blessed hope of my life. Help me to live and prepare to meet you at Your second coming.  I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
