In the past
God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in
various ways,

in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of
all things, and through whom he made the universe.

As they were walking
along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire
appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a
whirlwind.
