Whatever I do, I should question myself that what I do brings God’s glory. 3. If martyr will bring the maximum God glory, what kind of attitude should I take in daily living? Living a living martyr everyday (Witness for Jesus means martyr for Jesus in Acts 1:8) 4. What should I do in order to avoid comparison with other Christian? I should be fixing our eyes to Jesus and follow Him.
Prayer:
(1) Death martyr for Peter.
(2) Living martyr for John. A life of living Martyr would be more difficult.
(1) You lose concentration on your own work.
(2) Comparison comes from religious spirit. I try to do better (with my effort) than others. The end result would be giving glory to himself not to God.
(3) A doubt of faith that God might be not fair.
(4) A doubt of faith that God might be not in charge in every event.
Heavenly Father, thank you for saving me from the kingdom of darkness by the grace of Your Son, Jesus. Help me live a life to glorify Your name. With fixing my eyes on Jesus, I will serve the Lord everyday without comparison with others. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
