Answer

God is interested in transforming our character into the image (character) of Jesus.

3. How will Jesus change you to a wine-like person?

Answer

Jesus will change you in

Personality: sweet and happy

Facial expression: hopeful and smiling, thankful to God, and praising

Attitude: thankful and forgiving to others

Spiritual condition: being alive with loving fragrance

Emotional condition: joyful

4. How does your character change affect your relationship with God?

Answer

The change in my character will make me become thankful to God and glorify Him in all circumstances.

5. How can Jesus change your relationship with others in marriage life, family, at work, etc?

Answer

God first transforms us into the likeness of Jesus’ sweet, humble, thankful and forgiving character, and then we can develop a good relationship with others.

6. What standard can be used to measure the change in your character (transformation)?

Answer

My relationship with God and others can be used to measure the change in my character.

7. What is the meaning of the cross as apply to the above relationship?

Answer

The vertical portion of the cross represents the relationship between God and me.
The horizontal portion of the cross represents the relationship between others and me.
If the vertical relationship is not right, then I cannot have a good relationship with others.
If the horizontal relationship is not right, it means that I do not have a right relationship with God.

8. What is the meaning of “my witness” in Acts 1:8?

Answer

Jesus transformed water into wine. In the same way, Jesus came into my life and transformed me into the likeness of Jesus. Jesus is asking me to show myself, transformed by Christ, to the world and preach to them that Jesus is real. He is alive. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Family members will first notice your life change.

9.2) In what way will they notice your life-change?

Answer

They will notice a change:
1) In my Godly life, I would read more Bible, pray and attend church regularly.
2) In my personality, I am a happier person with peace, joy, and eternal hope.
3) In my relationship with God, I am thankful to God and praise Him in all circumstances.
4) In my relationship with others, I became a more loving, forgiving and thankful person to others.

10) Religions command people to “do something” or “not to do something.” What is the focus of Christianity?

Answer

1) Christianity commands us “to become” instead of “to do.” Jesus wants to transform our character by God’s power.

2) God will use us according to the degree of transformation. If we are transformed into the degree of clay, God will use us in the way worthy of clay. If we are transformed into the degree of gold, God will use us in the way worthy of gold.

Answer

Jesus will transform me into his likeness. I know Jesus wants my cooperation.

Prayer:
Dear our heavenly Father, thank you for your Son Jesus through whom I have been saved. I expect that Jesus will change me into the person that God wants me to be. Lord Jesus! I will cooperate with you through absolute obedience. I want to be used as a precious instrument of God. I pray that God’s will be fulfilled through my life, bringing glory to God’s name.
