Day 1 (A): It all starts with God

Proverbs 11:28

Who are righteous?

What will happen to people who trust in the Lord?

Jeremiah 17:7-8

7-8 "But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."

Colossians 1:16

For everything, absolutely everything, above and below , --visible and invisible, -- everything got started (           ) in him and finds its purpose in him. – including (      )

What are self centered questions about the purpose of your life?

1) What do (I) want to become?

2) What should (I) do with my life?

3) What are (my) goals? What are (my) ambitions? What are (my) dreams for my future?

Why can’t these questions give answer for the purpose of your life?

Answer: You didn’t (           ) yourself, so there is no way you can tell yourself what purpose you were (          ) for.
