That is the fear of God. 2.2) What is the root cause of all other fear? 3.1) What kind of fear does God want us to have? The reverence of God 3.2) How different is the meaning of reverence from the meaning of fear? Reverence: The evidence of submission to the authority of God with love and fear for not to break His commands out of love Fear: The evidence of a person who is out of the God’s authority and trying to be independent from the authority of God, fearing punishment from God for his/her evil action. Fear serves as motivation to escape to safety. 4. What does the Bible say about those who fear the Lord? (1) We are blessed by having the fear of the Lord. (2) The degree of the fear of the Lord reflects Christian growth and maturity. (3) As we are more spiritually matured, our depth of the fear of God will be increased. (2) You can magnify fear than reality.
(3) You may make wrong decision making under the fear pressure.
(4) As you concentrate in thinking of fear, you will face real fear in circumstance. (Job 3:25)
When you do not have the fear of God, all kinds of fear will come to us.
